卞超,山东农业大学学士(2009)和中国农业大学硕士(2013),2013获得国家留学基金委资助赴美国罗格斯大学学习深造。研究方向为细胞极性发育的分子模型及调控机理,相关研究成果即将发表在植物学领域领先的学术期刊上。
报告内容简介 :
BASL (Breaking of Asymmetry in the Stomatal Lineage) was identified as a novel plant protein in regulating cell polarity and asymmetric cell division. SPCH is a master transcriptional factor in controlling the first asymmetric cell division. By identifying a defective mutant in stomatal developmental process, we cloned the corresponding gene and studied its genetic relationship with BASL, SPCH and other several known regulators. By studying these proteins, we aim to investigate how proteins are polarly localized, and how the polarity is involved in the establishment of cell asymmetric division, and thus influences the cell fate and differentiation in plants.
